How high is your fence?

High above the north end of Las Vegas Strip, like a becon, stands the Stratosphere Hotel Stratosphere& Casino Tower. Not only is this the tallest structure in all of Las Vegas (1,149'), but it is also the tallest observation tower and the 5th tallest structure in the United States! With the spectacular views and thrilling rides few people take the time to notice the safety features.

The Tiberti Company was privilaged to install the chain link fence on the ride and observation decks. Our fearless fence erectors installed chain link and other fence products to ensure the safety of thrill seekers waiting to experience some of the most heart stoping rides in the world like the Big Shot, The Insanity, The X-Scream and the very scary Sky Jump.

Send us your pictures and stories of any "x-treme" fence you've seen!

The Tiberti Company plays a part in the Neon to Nature project

The Tiberti Company has been proud to work on several trail projects around the Las Vegas Valley such as the Las Vegas Wash Trail and the Bonanza Trail. Continuing this tradition, we have just completed the final phase of the Flamingo Arroyo Trail which includes bridge fencing for the bridge over East Desert Inn Road and the bridge over Boulder Highway at US-95.

We are currently working on the second phase of the Bonanza Trail which includes bridge fence over South Decatur at US-95, an under crossing at South Rainbow at US-95 and safety rail for the under crossings at Lake Mead Dr. near Lake Las Vegas.

The Tiberti Company is also looking forward to starting the trail along the Union Pacific Railroad, which runs along US-95 from Fiesta Henderson Casio, near Acacia all the way to Paradise Hills, near the Wagon Wheel exit.

An Open Letter to Our Vendors

Dear Vendor,

In an effort to maintain our reputation as Nevada's best paying contractor, I am requesting help from my vendors and/or suppliers. For years, we have paid our bills at least twice a week. To provide you with quick payment so that in turn we receive prompt service, best pricing, and good public relations, I am requesting that all invoicing be:

                    a) An original invoice

                    b) Include our purchase order number, Tiberti job number and/or job name

                    c) Insurance certificates must be current (for those applicable)

These simple steps are standard in our industry. If you do not receive payment within terms,  I want you to call me personally so I can develop a solution to the problem.

Business has always worked best when qualified and sincere relationships are formed. If you feel the same about my terms, please let other businesses know to support us and in turn support you.

Business at Tiberti is terrific! We have had a great year so far and look forward to our backlog of contracts for the future.

Sincerely,

THE TIBERTI COMPANY

West Mesquite Interchange Design-Build Project

Our new Highway Signs and Striping department will soon be working with W.W. Clyde & Co. out of Springville, UT on the West Mesquite Interchange Design-Build project.  It consists of reconstruction at Exit 120 (Falcon Ridge Pkwy) off  the I-15 running through Mesquite, NV. Because it is a heavily traveled route, it's not feasible to shut it down,  so W.W. Clyde will actually build the new bridge next to the existing one and then slide it into place on rails when it is finished. This is a commonly used technique, but it’s the first time it has been done in the state of Nevada. Check out this great video demonstration at  http://www.wwclyde.net/index.asp.

Tiberti’s portion of the project will involve installing polyurea pavement striping, epoxy pavement striping, and thermoplastic pavement markings including stop bars, crosswalks, a yield notice, single-head turn arrow, multi-head turn arrow, interstate shields, and message lettering. Tiberti will also install galvanized guardrail, overhead sign panels and permanent GMM polyester signs.

Don't forget to stop by W.W. Clyde & Co.'s site and tell them we sent you!
